We are OPEN for office visits and accepting new patients.
A hearing aid is not a simple sound amplifier. Instead, it is a complex medical device with technology that can be programmed by an audiologist to meet your hearing needs. While hearing aids do not restore your hearing to “normal,” they can improve your hearing and listening abilities, reducing embarrassment, social stress, tension and fatigue. If you have a hearing loss, a licensed audiologist can determine the best type and model of hearing aid that is appropriate for your lifestyle and hearing needs.
Basic digital hearing aids generally require the wearer to make some manual adjustments in certain listening environments such as turning a volume control up or down or pushing a button to change listening programs.
In contrast, a premium or more advanced hearing aid responds automatically to changes in the listener’s environment, making changes based on the signals being detected by the hearing aid. The hearing aid wearer is not required to make any manual changes. As the level of the technology increases in hearing aids, so do the availability of advanced features.

This is a huge plus for the style-conscious wearer.

Reliable and convenient, the receiver-in-canal device has a lightweight feel and a flexible fit, and it is among our most popular systems.
With a comfortable, open-fit design that’s perfect for almost all types of hearing loss, our receiver-in-canal (RIC) devices make better hearing a breeze. Although the speaker and microphone are both located on the shell of RIC devices, the speaker is fed into the ear canal with a comfortable, flexible dome that allows sound to pass through the ear canal naturally. These open fittings reduce wind noise and feedback.
Although RIC devices sit behind the ear, the small, sleek design means that they’re barely visible when worn, and they help provide clear, confident communication. With RIC devices, hearing is as natural and effortless as possible.
These small and discreet hearing aids are able to fit a wide range of hearing losses, making nearly anyone a perfect candidate for these devices. The RIC hearing aid is a device in which the receiver (speaker) is the only hearing aid component that is in the ear canal. A thin electrical wire connects the speaker to the body hearing aid (where the other components are housed) which sits right behind the ear. While these are not “custom-fitted,” they are customizable in the sense that there are many parts we can manipulate to fit your specific hearing loss. They come in a variety of colors, making it easy to match skin tone, hair color or glasses frames. They are also Bluetooth compatible, making them perfect for anyone who wants to stream phone calls, music or videos from their phone to their hearing aids – who needs Air Pods?!
