Hearing Health
We are OPEN for office visits and accepting new patients.
Hearing aids are available in many different sizes and styles thanks to advancements in digital technology and miniaturization of the internal components. Many of today’s hearing aids are considered sleek, compact, and innovative – offering solutions to a wide range of hearing aid wearers. Your Audiologist will recommend the style of hearing aid that is most appropriate for you based on your hearing loss type and severity, ear anatomy, lifestyle and dexterity.
Function and design are both seamlessly integrated in hearing aids manufactured by Widex. Two Danish families established the brand in 1956, and by 1995 they were the first in the market to release a completely digital hearing aid. Since then they have proven time and time again that innovative craftsmanship and a commitment to quality are essential when creating products that last.
Offering a range of products, Widex has recently released their own line of rechargeable options along with a plethora of hearing aids that pair with wireless devices. Their Made for iPhone® hearing aids allow wearers to stream podcasts, music, and phone calls with ease, and their latest CUSTOM™ design provides optimal comfort and impeccable sound quality.
Widex not only takes care of our patients but makes huge strides toward improving our planet. With a carbon-neutral headquarters that runs from renewable energy sources, they are dedicated to making our world a better place. Oticon was founded over 100 years ago! They continuously develop new models that assist in making sounds clearer and allowing you to interpret what you’re hearing with ease.
Recently, Oticon has introduced BrainHearing™ and OpenSound Navigator™, two platforms that assess your surroundings 100 times per second to provide you with natural and balanced hearing. By taking on much of the work your brain tends to do, Oticon’s devices allow you to enjoy any activities you desire.
The Oticon More™ is designed to support your brain. It is the world’s first hearing aid with an on-board Deep Neural Network. Oticon More with BrainHearing™ technology is a revolutionary hearing aid that gives the brain more of the relevant information it needs to make better sense of sound, so you can get better speech understanding with less effort and the ability to remember more. Take better care of your brain, and your brain will take better care of you. The Oticon More miniRITE R rechargeable style takes just three hours to charge for a full day’s power.
We find that patients see immense success with Oticon products. To learn more about their full lineup of hearing aids, visit their website here.

We believe in transparent pricing for our hearing loss treatment options and professional services. We want our patients to be active participants in their hearing healthcare. Hearing aids are a necessary part of many treatment plans. They can be very expensive, but they don’t need to be.
Traditionally, most hearing aid clinics use a model known as “bundled” pricing where the cost of the hearing aids includes the cost of the professional services, batteries, supplies, and 3 year warranties are bundled into the total price. This drives up the price of the hearing aids who ultimately forces many patients to forego treatment.
The Hearing Center at Eye Consultants of Atlanta has “itemized” pricing, which means we itemize all services received. This allows the patient to pay for services as they receive them, making hearing aids less expensive for the patient. We believe this model allows more patients to access the quality hearing healthcare they deserve and save our patients money overall!
