Lacey Sharp (Behn), Au.D., CCC-A

Audiologist

Dr. Lacey Sharp received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida.

Dr. Sharp is a licensed audiologist in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She carries the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), which is awarded by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA). Dr. Sharp has won the Academy Scholar Award in both 2019 and 2020 for completing over 50 hours of continuing education.

Dr. Sharp has been the Secretary for GAA since 2016 and will serve as President of GAA from 2021-2022. She is also the 2020-2023 Chair of the AAA Political Action Committee.

Dr. Sharp’s clinical experience includes a professional externship at the Atlanta VA Medical Center Audiology Clinic. Following her externship, she worked at Emory University Hospital alongside the Emory Neuro-otology team from 2016-2018. Dr. Sharp then worked at a local private practice, Audiological Consultants of Atlanta, prior to joining Eye Consultants of Atlanta in 2021.

Dr. Sharp lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and her dog, Eve. She enjoys soccer, Florida Gators football, water sports, baking, and traveling. Dr. Sharp enjoys working with adults, geriatrics, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). She understands the importance of diagnosing and treating hearing loss as she has an uncle with profound hearing loss.
